Sapling helps to automate administrative HR tasks, from onboarding to offboarding. Our integration makes it easy to export candidates from Breezy and create them as employees in Sapling.
HRIS integrations are available to customers on Business and Pro plans.
You’ll need to have an account with Sapling before enabling the integration.
How to enable the Sapling integration
If you’re an Admin and already have a Sapling account, you can enable the integration in your Breezy recruiting preferences.
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Hover over Recruiting Preferences and click Integrations.
Scroll to Employee Management (HRIS).
Click Settings under Sapling.
Enter your Sapling subdomain and API key.
Click Save Changes.
Once your Sapling integration is enabled, you can use it to move candidates to Sapling in a couple of different ways:
Manually from any candidate profile
Automatically with stage actions
Note: Once candidates have been added to Sapling, you’ll need to onboard them as pending hires in your Sapling account.
How to add a new employee to Sapling manually
Once a candidate is moved to the Hired stage, you can manually add them to your Sapling account.
Open the candidate's profile in Breezy.
Click Add to Sapling in the top-right corner of the window.
The candidate will be added to your Sapling account and Sapling will appear in the candidate details section under Added to.
How to add new employees to Sapling automatically
You can automatically add candidates to Sapling with stage actions.
To set up the stage action:
Open the pipeline view of the correct position.
Click the settings menu (three dots) for the stage where you want to set the action.
Select Edit Stage Actions in the dropdown.
Click the dropdown for Available Stage Actions and select Add to Sapling.
Click + Add.
Click Save Changes.
Now, any candidate that reaches the stage will automatically be added to your Sapling account.
