The Breezy SMS Add-on is a paid subscription that adds monthly text message credits to your existing Breezy plan. You can purchase the add-on on a monthly or yearly basis.
Standard plans include messages sent to numbers in the US and Canada and are available with:
1,500 credits
2,500 credits
5,000 credits
Custom plans are available with more than 5,000 credits per month and/or international coverage. Contact our sales team for more details.
How to buy the SMS Add-on
Admins can purchase the SMS Add-on from their billing page.
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click Company Settings.
Click Subscriptions & Billing in the left sidebar.
Click Subscriptions near the top of the screen.
Scroll to Feature add-ons and click the SMS Messaging tile.
Follow the prompts to choose a plan and confirm payment.
SMS providers and mobile carriers require validation to send messages from Breezy. You’ll need to provide the following info when you choose a plan:
Full business address
Business phone number
Contact person’s first and last name
Contact person's email
Verification may take up to one week. We’ll let you know as soon as you’re verified so you can start sending messages. Your SMS subscription will take effect on that date and you’ll be charged then.
How SMS credits work
SMS or text messages are sent by mobile carriers in “segments”. Depending on the content of your message and the encoding that’s used, a segment holds about 160 characters. If your messages are long—or include emoji or certain characters—it could take multiple segments to send a single message.
Each Breezy SMS credit is equal to one segment. If a single text message uses several segments, it will take the same number of credits from your plan. You can find out how many credits you have available by checking your billing page.

Before you hit send, use a character counter or SMS segment calculator to see how your messages measure up!
Limits and alerts
The SMS Add-on provides a set number of SMS credits per month. No matter which plan you’re on, we’ll email you when you’ve reached 90% of your text message limit for the month.
If you reach your limit, 10% of your SMS subscription amount will be added to your account automatically. These extra credits will last 30 days from the date they're added.
