Written by Breezy Team

Including salary details in your job postings is always a great idea, but in some places, it’s the law.

If you’re an admin, you can require users to include complete salary details before activating any position, whether for compliance or just for consistency across positions and hiring teams.

To require a salary range for positions:

  1. Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.

  2. Click Company Settings.

  3. Click General in the left sidebar.

  4. Click Position Data near the top of the screen.

  5. Find Require Salary Range and toggle to enable.

Once enabled, users will need to add all salary details in order to activate a position, including minimum, maximum, salary term, and currency.

Notes:

  • When a salary range is required, a position can be saved in draft status without including salary info, but cannot be activated and published to job boards.

  • Requiring a salary range is a company-wide setting and can’t be disabled at the position level.
