These are the folks that will be involved in the hiring process for this position in one way or another — whether it's at the interview stages, all the way through, or just to make the final offer.

How to assign a Hiring Team to a position

You can assign a hiring team to a position when you create it, or later in the position’s settings.

  1. Click Positions/Pools in the left sidebar.

  2. Open the correct position.

  3. Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the top-right corner of the window to open Position Settings.

  4. Click Hiring Team in the left sidebar.

  5. Choose a team or individual from the dropdown.

  6. Choose a role for the team or person from the dropdown.

  7. Click + Add.

The teams and individuals you add will be shown. The role you choose for a team will apply to all individuals on the team, unless you choose a different role on the list of individual users.

Hiring Manager

Hiring Managers can manage candidates and their information. Specifically, they can:

  • Add new candidates

  • Move candidates between stages

  • Communicate with candidates

  • Schedule candidates for interviews

Hiring Member

Hiring members are the people on your team that you'd like feedback from. Hiring Members can:

  • Add notes

  • Share their feedback via Scorecards

  • Contribute to team discussions

Note: Admins on Business and Pro plans can create custom roles with different sets of permissions. The permissions associated with a custom role may override what is described here.
