HiBob Integration

HiBob streamlines core HR processes by automating and simplifying approval cycles. Our integration makes it easy to automatically or manually export candidates from Breezy and create them as employees in HiBob.

HRIS integrations are available to customers on Business and Pro plans.

You’ll need to have an account with HiBob before enabling the integration.

How to enable the HiBob integration

In order to connect Breezy with HiBob, you’ll need to start in your HiBob account.

In HiBob

  1. Open your account Settings.

  2. Click Integrations in the top navigation bar.

  3. Scroll to Hire API and click Create Integration.

  4. Enter a name for the integration, like “Breezy”.

  5. Copy the URL and Secret for the next step, back in Breezy.

You’ll need Admin permission to finish the connection in your Breezy recruiting preferences.

  1. Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.

  2. Hover over Platform Integrations and click HRIS Connections.

  3. Click the HiBob tile to enable.

  4. Enter the URL and Secret from your HiBob integration settings.

  5. Click Save Changes.

Once the HiBob integration is enabled, you can use it to move candidates to HiBob in a couple of different ways:

  • Manually from any candidate profile

  • Automatically with stage actions

Note: HiBob gives you the option to customize who's notified when a candidate is moved to a hired stage. To ensure your HiBob notification settings are compatible with the Breezy integration, go to your HiBob integration settings for Breezy and set the notification option to Specific Employees.`


How to add a new employee to HiBob manually

Once a candidate is moved to the Hired stage, you can manually add them to your HiBob account.

  1. Open the candidate's profile in Breezy.

  2. Click Add to HiBob in the top-right corner of the window.

The candidate will be added to your HiBob account and HiBob will appear in the candidate details section under Added to.

How to add new employees to HiBob automatically

You can automatically add candidates to HiBob with stage actions.
To set up the stage action:

  1. Open the pipeline view of the correct position.

  2. Click the settings menu (three dots) for the stage where you want to set the action.

  3. Select Edit Stage Actions in the dropdown.

  4. Click the dropdown for Available Stage Actions and select Add to HiBob.

  5. Click + Add.

  6. Click Save Changes.

Now, any candidate that reaches the stage will automatically be added to your HiBob account.

As part of the integration with HiBob, the following candidate properties are supported:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email Address

  • Job Title

  • Department

  • Location

  • Resume

  • Offer Documents
