Paylocity Integration

Connecting your Paylocity account to Breezy makes it simple to export candidates from Breezy and create them as employees in Paylocity.

HRIS integrations are available to customers on Business and Pro plans.

You’ll need to have an account with Paylocity before enabling the integration.

How to enable the Paylocity integration

In order to connect Breezy with Paylocity, you’ll need to start in your Paylocity account.

In Paylocity

  1. Browse or search for Breezy HR.

  2. Click Begin Integration.

Paylocity will enable access to the integration and contact you when the process is complete.

In Breezy

Once you’ve received confirmation from Paylocity, you can finish the connection in Breezy. You’ll need Admin permissions to enable the integration in your recruiting preferences.

  1. Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.

  2. Hover over Platform Integrations and click HRIS Connections.

  3. Click the Paylocity tile to enable.

  4. Enter the Paylocity Company ID provided by Paylocity.

  5. Click Save Changes.

Once your Paylocity integration is enabled, you can use it to move candidates to Paylocity in a couple of different ways:

  • Manually from any candidate profile

  • Automatically with stage actions

How to add a new employee to Paylocity manually

Once a candidate is moved to the Hired stage, you can manually add them to your Paylocity account.

  1. Open the candidate's profile in Breezy.

  2. Click Add to Paylocity in the top-right corner of the window.

The candidate will be added to your Paylocity account and Paylocity will appear in the candidate details section under Added to.

How to add new employees to Paylocity automatically

You can automatically add candidates to Paylocity with stage actions.

To set up the stage action:

  1. Open the pipeline view of the correct position.

  2. Click the settings menu (three dots) for the stage where you want to set the action.

  3. Select Edit Stage Actions in the dropdown.

  4. Click the dropdown for Available Stage Actions and select Add to Paylocity.

  5. Click + Add.

  6. Click Save Changes.

Now, any candidate that reaches the stage will automatically be added to your Paylocity account.

Supported Fields

As part of the integration with Paylocity, the following candidate properties are supported:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Hire Date (the date the candidate is added to Paylocity)
