How to enable the ADP Workforce Now® Integration
If you’re an admin, you can enable the integration in your recruiting preferences.
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Hover over Platform Integrations and click HRIS Connections.
Click the ADP Workforce Now® tile to enable the integration.
Click the copy icon (pages) to copy the Friendly ID. (You’ll use this later to complete the connection in the ADP Marketplace.)
Click Enable
Follow the prompts to sign in to ADP and select or purchase the Breezy HR Connector for ADP Workforce Now®.
Note: Fees for the data connector will be billed to your ADP account.
Once the Workforce Now integration is enabled and you’ve given consent for the connector, you can move new hires to ADP from their candidate profile.
How to add a new employee to Workforce Now®
Once a candidate is moved to a Hired stage, you can add them to your ADP account.
Open the candidate's profile in Breezy.
Click the More menu (three dots) near the top of the window.
Click + ADP Workforce Now.
Add or update the candidate details you’ll need to include for ADP:
Choose an onboarding template from your options in Workforce Now.*
Choose the correct company, if you have multiple options in Workforce Now.
Confirm the candidate’s details from their Breezy profile (Name, gender, phone, email, and address).
Add the employee’s hours per week.
Add the employee’s hire date.
Note: The candidate info you add or change is added to ADP, but is not updated in Breezy.
Click Submit Candidate.
In Breezy, ADP Workforce Now will appear in the candidate details section under Added to.
In ADP, you can find the new employee as an In-Progress Hire. Look in Processes for HR, then Hire/Rehire.
Note: Stage actions are not currently supported with the ADP Workforce Now integration.
❗Important Note: The onboarding template you choose must have permissions to be used with the integration, or you may receive an error when moving candidates to Workforce Now. To set the permission in your ADP account, open Setup > Template Management > Hire/Rehire. Find the correct template and click Assign Users. Enable the Profile for system users established by Marketplace Data Connector applications option and follow the steps to confirm your changes.

Template code
Payroll group code
Weekly working hours
*Existing ADP customers can use the integration on any Breezy plan when they purchase Breezy through the ADP Marketplace.
