Breezy’s Data Manager is where you can manage candidate and position tags, candidate sources, and salary term options for your positions.
Admin permission is required to manage tags and sources
How to manage tags and sources
Admin permission is required to access the Data Manager. You can save up to 250 tags and 250 sources, and can lock settings so only admins can add new tags and sources.
Creating tags and sources
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click Recruiting Preferences.
Click Data Manager in the left sidebar.
Click the text box by Tags or Sources.
Enter the name of the new tag you’d like to create, up to 256 characters.
Click + Tag or + Source.
To assign a color to the tag, find it on the list and click the color icon (droplet).
Note: If your lists exceed the limit of 250 tags or sources, you’ll need to delete enough entries to bring the list below the maximum before creating new ones.
Deleting tags and sources
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click Recruiting Preferences.
Click Data Manager in the left sidebar.
Search or scroll to find the correct tag or source.
Click the delete icon (trash can) next to the tag or source.
Click Delete to confirm.
Note: When you delete a tag or source in the Data Manager, it’s deleted across the entire Breezy account and removed from candidate profiles, but will still be reflected in historical reporting data. If you just want to remove a tag or source from one candidate, you can do that from their candidate profile.
Locking tags and sources
By default, Hiring Managers can create new tags and sources for positions and candidates they’re assigned to. These tags and sources are saved across the Breezy account so other Hiring Managers can use them, and they count toward the limit of 250 tags or sources. Users won’t be allowed to create new tags if the limit has been reached.
If you’d like to standardize tags and sources and prevent users from creating new ones, you can lock them in the Data Manager. Locking tags and sources limits users to choosing from a list maintained by admins.
Tag and Source locking are available to customers on Business and Pro plans
To lock tags or sources:
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click Recruiting Preferences.
Click Data Manager in the left sidebar.
Go to Tags or Sources and click the toggle to Limit to List.
When tags and sources are locked, only admins can add new tags in the data manager.
How to manage salary terms
You can customize a list of up to 10 salary terms that users can choose from when creating a position. By default, the options include:
Yearly
Monthly
Biweekly
Weekly
Daily
Hourly
To customize the list of salary terms:
Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.
Click Recruiting Preferences.
Click Data Manager in the left sidebar.
Find Salary Terms.
To add a term, enter the name of the new term and click + Salary Term.
To change a term, click the edit icon (pencil) next to its name.
To delete a term, click the delete icon (trash can) next to its name.
To reorder terms, click the reorder icon (two lines) and drag the term to a new position in the list.
Salary term equivalents
The following list shows how the terms you use in Breezy are defined and displayed by the most popular job boards. If your terms don’t match what’s shown, the salary field will not be displayed in the job board posting.
💡 Tip: Double-up in the description
If you use a salary term that isn’t supported (like “unit” or “piece”), you can still make sure it’s shown on job boards. Just include it in both the position description and the salary field. 💥
