Publishing jobs on Indeed is a top priority for most Breezy customers. But Indeed has some specific requirements about publishing positions with an applicant tracking system (ATS) like Breezy. You’ll need to take some important steps to be sure your positions from Breezy are listed on Indeed.
1. Verify your Breezy account with Indeed
We’ll automatically send approved, active positions to Indeed when free job boards are enabled. But in order for Indeed to publish them, you’ll need to notify Indeed that Breezy will be posting jobs on your behalf and request a review of your jobs. It’s as simple as sending a message through their contact form, and you only need to do it once.

Complete the form with your info.
Paste the following message in the Description field:
I am a new client of Breezy HR, an Integrated ATS with Indeed, and my jobs are included in their comprehensive XML feed. I need a CS rep to review my jobs to determine if they are suitable for organic visibility per Indeed’s Quality Standards.
Click Submit.

2. Close duplicate positions in your Indeed account or other ATS
Indeed will only publish a job listing from one source. So, if you post a job from your Indeed account (or with another ATS) and also create the same job in Breezy, Indeed won’t publish the version from Breezy. That means applicants from Indeed won’t be added to Breezy automatically.
To close positions created in your Indeed account:
Sign in to your Indeed account and open the Employer Dashboard.
Click the Jobs tab near the top of the screen.
Find the correct job and click the Job Status dropdown.
Select Closed.
Note: If you published positions from another ATS, you’ll need to close those positions in that ATS, not your Indeed account.
We automatically send jobs to Indeed on a regular basis. So once duplicate jobs are closed and you’ve notified Indeed that your jobs will be coming from Breezy, the position from Breezy should be accepted and published, sending your applicants directly to Breezy.
⚠️ Important:
Indeed does not allow the collection of certain personal info, including social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, or bank account information.
Indeed only allows one source of organic (free) visibility. If jobs are published for free via Breezy, any jobs that are posted directly on Indeed must be sponsored, and vice versa.
Jobs that Indeed identifies as duplicates or copies of previously posted listings may no longer be visible on Indeed unless they are sponsored.
Indeed requires staffing and recruiting companies to sponsor jobs. Positions from these companies will not be published as free jobs on Indeed.
