How to create a career portal

Your default career portal shows your company’s name and is considered your primary portal. You can create secondary portals with unique titles and different criteria for the positions they display.

  1. Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.

  2. Click Company Settings.

  3. Click Career Sites in the left sidebar.

  4. Click + Career Site.

  5. Customize your new portal and click Save Changes.

Notes:

  • If you’re on a Pro plan and don’t see the option to create a new careers site, contact your Breezy Account Manager to enable the feature.

  • You can delete secondary career portals that have been created, but not the original, default portal.

How to customize your career portals

You can customize and manage each portal independently in your Recruiting Preferences.

  1. Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.

  2. Click Company Settings.

  3. Click Career Sites in the left sidebar.

  4. Find the correct site and click the more icon (three dots) under the preview tile.

  5. Click Edit.

  6. Make changes as needed and click Save Changes.

Note: You can delete additional career portals that have been created but not the original, default portal.

How to choose a career portal for a position

You can choose which career site to show a job on in two ways:

  1. At the portal level, in a secondary portal’s settings

  2. At the position level, in a position's settings

Filtering at the portal level displays jobs across both your primary and secondary portals. Choosing a portal at the position level displays the job only on that portal.

At the portal level

You can use filters in a secondary portal’s settings to define which jobs will be shown there. With this method, positions are shown on both the secondary and primary career portals and are distributed to job boards under your main company name.

  1. Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.

  2. Click Company Settings.

  3. Click Career Sites in the left sidebar.

  4. Find the correct site and click the more icon (three dots) under the preview tile.

  5. Click Edit.

  6. Click Content near the top of the screen.

  7. Find Positions and click the edit icon (pencil).

  8. Find Filters and toggle to enable criteria:

    • Primary Location

    • Category

    • Tags

  9. Choose criteria from each filter’s dropdown.

  10. Click Save Changes.

At the position level

You can specify which portal to display a job on when you create it, or later in its settings. With this method, the position will only show on the portal you select and will be distributed to job boards under that portal’s name.

  1. Click Positions/Pools in the left sidebar.

  2. Open the correct position.

  3. Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the top-right corner of the window to open Position Settings.

  4. Click Application in the left sidebar.

  5. Choose the correct site from the Careers Sites dropdown.

  6. Click Save Changes.

Notes:

  • A Breezy account can only connect to one Indeed integration, regardless of how many career portals you use. You can post free jobs across multiple secondary portals on Indeed through Breezy, but you can only sponsor positions from your primary portal through Breezy. You'll need to manage sponsorships for jobs on secondary portals directly on Indeed.

  • Positions that are shown only on a secondary portal will not appear on your Employee Portal. To appear on the Employee Portal, it must be published on your company’s primary portal. Your primary portal is listed in the dropdown with a pin icon.

💡 Tip: Keep track with tags!

It can be tricky to keep track of what jobs are on which portal. Create a custom tag to correspond with each portal and tag each position on the Details page of its settings. Then, use filters with your tags to get a quick look at the positions associated with each portal. 💥
